Our Story

She Strides started as a small running group with a simple goal: to create a welcoming and safe space for women of all abilities. Since then, we’ve grown into so much more than just a run club — we’re now a thriving community of women, created by women.

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. All our runs are led by trained leaders and pacers, ensuring every member is supported and guided, whether you’re running your first 3km or tackling a longer route.

From weekly runs and track nights to wellness days and special events, we provide opportunities to challenge yourself, connect with like-minded women, and enjoy running in a safe, supportive environment.

What we Value

Launched in May 2024, from one woman, one run, to an unstoppable community

EMPOWERMENT

We lead with strength — and lift others as we rise. Whether it’s a first run or a leadership role, She Strides exists to help every woman step into her confidence and potential.

PURPOSE

We don’t just run — we stride toward something bigger. Every She Strides club is rooted in impact. We create environments where women grow, give back,
and lead with intention.

MOVEMENT

Move your body, shift your mindset. We believe in the power of movement — not just for physical health, but for joy, clarity, and progress in every part of life.

COMMUNITY

We build real connections through movement, support, and shared purpose — creating spaces where everyone feels seen, safe, and
valued.

INCLUSIVITY

Every woman, every pace, always welcome. Our spaces are open to all women — all
backgrounds, all bodies, all journeys — because strength comes in many forms.

SAFETY

We prioritise self-awareness over pushing through. Recovery over rigidity. Slowing down, modifying, or taking a break is always encouraged.

She Strides Pacers

As our clubs continue to grow, we want to ensure that women of all abilities feel supported at our runs. We do this by creating ‘pacing groups’, which are led by our She Strides pacers running at a pre-assigned pace.

Health & Safety

We know that injuries, health conditions, and life's ups and downs can all shape the way you move. That's why we prioritise self-awareness over pushing through, recovery over rigidity and slowing down, modifying, or taking a break is always encouraged.

Run Club Leaders

Our Leaders play a key role in making sure every run is enjoyable, inclusive, and safe for everyone. They’re responsible for planning and organising the runs you attend, making sure the routes are safe and that all necessary risk assessments are kept up to date.
